Solving more than buildings
As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability, Bell & Gossett today launched the Watermark 20/20 initiative during the AHR Expo in partnership with its extensive network of manufacturer’s representatives. Through Watermark, Xylem’s acclaimed corporate citizenship and social investment program, Bell & Gossett and its representative network are going beyond buildings to solve water-related issues in the United States.
Bell & Gossett has challenged members of its representative network to identify and complete 20 impactful projects in communities across the country throughout the year. Projects will be completed with the help of local organizations with a shared sustainability/building efficiency mission. The Watermark 20/20 initiative is an extension of Bell & Gossett’s 2019 effort to involve its partners in providing and protecting safe water resources for local communities.
Last year, Bell & Gossett joined with several manufacturer’s reps to advance the Xylem Watermark mission on various projects including:
Protecting the San Francisco watershed by removing invasive plants along the shoreline with California Hydronics Corp. in Hayward, California.
Repairing irrigation systems and improving drainage at Aurora Water-wise Garden with McNevin Co. in Aurora, Colorado.
Raising funds for Watermark and water scarcity projects with Mulcahy Co. in Eagan, Minnesota.
“The Watermark 20/20 initiative is a prime example of how we’re engaging our stakeholders to help address water challenges,” Haffner said. “Bell & Gossett and its rep network and other partners are committed to making a difference in the places where we live and work by cleaning up waterways, raising awareness and taking action.”
