The School House, Its Heating and Ventilation was written by Joseph A. Moore and published in 1905. The writer was "engaged in the inspection of public buildings in Massachusetts, and in supervising the construction of and testing the various methods of heating and ventilation, especially in schoolhouses, and presents to those interested in our public schools some suggestions as to the construction of the heating and ventilation of such buildings."
