VXT-120 Hydrolevel Water Feeder Makes Loud Screech When Adding Water To Steam Boiler

This newly installed VXT-120 Hydrolevel automatic water feeder for steam boiler makes an unearthly screech when it feeds. The domestic water pressure was checked and found to be less than 65 psi.

The earlier models of feeders never made this noise when feeding.

It appears that the flow restrictor internal to the solenoid valve has been redesigned and that is the cause of the annoying noise.
